The drive, the searching and the exploration of it up to the self-abandonment is shown again in Bertram‘s latest video animation „#0037sentiment“, a series that has run since 2006. The original reason was the need to process everyday life in the form of a diary without words. She worked on her last video more than 18 months, but you can no longer talk about a diary anymore, because now it goes much deeper. The energetic process will be visible in the finished animation. The reference to Don Quixote becomes particularly clear here: his project, as with you, seems meaningless to outsiders. At the centre is a video animation from the Sentiment series, conceived as an endless loop. The animation is extended into real space by network structures and chaotic connections with nylon nets.
