What distinguishes Don Quixote as a character in a novel is the ambiguity between his everyday life in the barren landscape, and the high-flying knight‘s novel dreams. The installation “Revolte“ seeks the balance between working model and daydream. The everyday and clearly-used wooden floor in this space-filling plastic intervention, displays an undreamt-of poetry: the disastrous and banal becomes highly aesthetic. Walls and ceiling form the frame for a three-dimensional picture in space that deconstructs familiar views and contexts of use, creating irritating new spaces: Revolt!
